Celia Vaclavik is a board certified Physician Assistant who joined Heights Dermatology in 2015. She was born and raised in San Antonio, TX and attended high school at Canyon New Braunfels High School. She received her Bachelor of Science degree at St. Mary’s University and majored in Biology. She was the first student in the history of the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio to gain early admission into the Physician Assistant program. She graduated with a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies through the UT Health Science Center and was awarded summa cum laude. She was also one of three students in the program to be part of the honors Alpha Eta Society.
She has worked in a variety of different health care settings as a Physician Assistant including chronic kidney disease clinics, dialysis clinics, and primary care before deciding to focus on her passion in Dermatology. She is currently a member of the Texas Association of Physician Assistants and American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Celia is excited to join the practices. She practices both medical and cosmetic dermatology and performs skin cancer surgeries and other minor skin procedures.
